Our Schools Without Walls programme of activities will strengthen access, connection and confidence in the outdoors and develop an appreciation and respect for nature and all that is living and promote an understanding of how we can look after our environment.

Schools Without Walls activities are designed to develop self-awareness, creativity, team working and respect and benefits both physical and mental health wellbeing.

We offer bespoke day activity programmes for schools & groups as well as family workshops.

Activities include:

Outdoor Living skills activities; Shelter Building, Fire Lighting, Water Filtering, wild foods and foraging, campfire cooking.

Natural History & Citizen Science activities; plant/tree id, habitat conservation, bioblitz surveys, guided nature walks and water cycle activities.

Pre-History sessions; bring local history to life with a focus on Stone Age and Bronze age; ‘stone’ carving,  foods and medicines and natural arts & crafts.

Natural arts and crafts; natural dyes, printing, charcoal making, weaving, willow crafts, land art, clay and green wood crafts.

Team building; Encourage skills in communication and cooperation, whilst exploring the natural surroundings.

Storytelling and play; bring literature to life.
